I need to improve my photographic skills. This is one of my favourite LOs, it's photos taken at night of Clifton Suspension Bridge. I'd seen someone use stitched curves on a LO and thought I'd like to try it.

Card Workshop, Bristol

I am teaching at a card workshop with two friends, Giselle and Mandy.
The workshops are great fun. It's on Saturday 24th April at Olveston Primary School. It is £25 for the day and you will make 15 cards. All the components for the cards are provided, but you will need to bring your own adhesive. Refreshments are available and you'll need a packed lunch.

Altered Journal

I've discovered another way of adding shine to my projects, spray inks. Over on Fiskarettes there was a competition to create a project using inks and stamping. I had great fun creating my journal.
This week I found out I'd won the competition:) I now have a fabulous prize winging it's way to me.

Thought i would show you my daughters Rubber Chicken today ! She went to Camp America and they all had to take Rubber Chickens ! I decorated my daughters with a beaded neck collar to make it stand out from the rest !

Candle holder

I really enjoyed using the wire mesh for the earring holder and wondered what else I could do with it.

A friend had suggested using alcohol inks to colour it, so I started experimenting.

Here is what I came up with:

Altered Frame

Have you ever had one of those days when you have an idea, you think will be lovely and it turns out to be utter rubbish?
I've had one of those weeks, it wasn't helped by the fact I felt awful and couldn't stop coughing.
It's DT upload for me again on Fiskarettes and this is what I came up with: (after chucking one project in the bin)

You could use it as a photoframe as well. The mesh I bought from a Motor Spares shop, it's aluminium and cheap. It's for using as base to fill holes in car body work. You can buy wire mesh from craft shops but it's more expensive.
